Latur Police extern notorious offenders in crackdown to improve civic safety
In a proactive measure to strengthen law and order, Latur Police have issued externment orders against five notorious offenders, barring them from entering Latur and neighboring districts including Beed, Dharashiv, Parbhani, and Nanded for the next two years under the Maharashtra Police Act. The decision aims to curb recurring criminal activities and ensure a safer environment for residents.
The move was taken after thorough investigations revealed ongoing offences linked to these individuals. Officials stated that the step was necessary to protect communities and prevent escalation of crime, calling it part of broader efforts to maintain public peace and security.
